LYBL On Purpose was birthed from my personal reality that it was time I started living my best life on purpose. I have lived my entire life believing that traveling, having fun, not caring what others thought of me and just living it up meant I was living my best life. It was not until I studied the true meaning of each word that I discovered my perception was not accurate and what living your best life really means in its entirety.

1. The definition of Living means the pursuit of a lifestyle you to live; to be alive.

2. The definition of Best means of the most excellent, effective, or desirable type or quality.

3. The definition of Life means existence.

4. The definition of On means physically in contact with and supported by.

5. The definition of Purpose means the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists.

 

I thought by having the job, the finances, the relationships (which were unhealthy at the time) and living the lifestyle that I wanted that I was living my best life. Secretly, I was suffering; I was not living my best life at all.

I had not addressed the mental issues that I have been battling with for years. I wore my best game face daily and played the hell out of the poker hand I was dealt. No one would have ever thought that I, Annjeanne Evans, was suffering with anxiety and depression.

​

So, I asked myself a question…how can I start a business encouraging others to live their best life, when I was still trying to find my purpose?

​

Well, I started to address my issues 4 years ago. It was at that time I decided to let go of the pain and the suffering and talk to someone. I asked for help to move on and face the fears that have held me back from living my best life. I was then, and I am now, determined to truly live and be the best version of me…on purpose.

​

Although I still go through my ups and downs, I do not let that dictate my life. I remember to breathe, pray, and let go of those things that I cannot change! I am choosing to live!

​

LYBL is not just another t-shirt and apparel shop. It is a platform for those who want to creatively express themselves through words, drawings, quotes etc. It is a way of life. It is a change in the thought process that you live by. It is a chance for you to stand on your business and do exactly what it is you want to do with your life.

​

No one can live their best lives until they are genuinely happy within themselves. So, every day when you wake up, look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself that you will live for today and not tomorrow. You will live in your purpose on purpose!!
